Whether you are joining us for one of our feature meetings, celebrating with friends or experiencing the races for the first time, this guide contains everything you need to plan your visit.
Race-day schedules, gate opening times, ticketing arrangements and hospitality options may vary between meetings. We recommend checking the individual race-day page before attending for the latest event information.
The racecourse is approximately 2.5 kilometres west of the Muswellbrook town centre, just off Denman Road.
Muswellbrook is located in the Upper Hunter, approximately three hours north of Sydney via the New England Highway.
When approaching the racecourse, please follow directional signage and any instructions provided by race-day staff.
Parking is available within the Muswellbrook Race Club precinct.
Please follow race-day signage when entering the grounds. Designated parking areas may vary depending on the size and requirements of each race meeting.
Accessible parking is available for patrons with a valid Mobility Parking Scheme permit. Spaces are subject to availability, and patrons requiring assistance are encouraged to contact the Club before race day.
Vehicles and personal property are left within the racecourse car parks at the owner’s risk. Please remove valuables from your vehicle and ensure it is securely locked.
Muswellbrook Race Club encourages patrons to embrace the occasion and arrive in clean, neat and presentable attire.
The general race-day dress code is smart casual.
For gentlemen, a collared shirt and enclosed shoes are recommended. Suits, jackets and ties are optional for most meetings but are encouraged for feature race days, including Muswellbrook Cup Day.
Clothing should be clean, tidy, in good repair and appropriate for a family-friendly racing environment.
Some hospitality, members and corporate areas may have additional dress requirements. Please refer to your ticket or booking confirmation before attending.
Feature meetings may also include Fashions on the Field, providing the perfect opportunity to dress up and enjoy the tradition and style of country racing.
Muswellbrook Race Club is committed to providing a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all patrons.
Accessible parking and amenities are available within the racecourse precinct. Some areas of the venue include grassed or uneven surfaces, and access arrangements may differ between race meetings and hospitality areas.
Patrons with accessibility requirements are encouraged to contact the Club before attending so the team can provide information about parking, entry points, seating and the most suitable route through the venue.
Registered companion and assistance animals are permitted when accompanying a person with a disability.
Racehorse owners are an important part of Muswellbrook Race Club and the wider racing industry. The Club looks forward to welcoming owners and providing an enjoyable race-day experience.
Depending on the race meeting and whether admission charges apply, listed owners and one guest may receive complimentary racecourse entry. Owners should present themselves at the main entrance and have their name checked against the ownership list.
A complimentary racebook may also be provided where applicable.
For safety and operational reasons, owners are not permitted to enter the mounting yard or tie-up stall areas unless specifically invited by Muswellbrook Race Club.
Winning owners will be invited to participate in the official presentation and photograph, receive the winner’s sash and celebrate with race sponsors in the designated winners’ area.
